Letter Writing to Migrants
Many of the immigrants we accompany have little to no contact with the outside world, which can cause feelings of loneliness, fear, and isolation. Cards and letters let them know they haven’t been forgotten. It’s a simple act that can make a huge difference. One of the most meaningful ways to end isolation is to visit someone in detention.
KWESI offers informal training to orient new visitors to the rules of Mesa Verde and learn the best practices
